Hello, my name is Leslie Maniotes! MY VITALS--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Occupation: Professional Development Designer & Learning Consultant on Inquiry Home town: Arvada, CO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Currently, I am an author, curriculum specialist and educational consultant. My book may be of interest to members of this wiki, Guided Inquiry: Learning in the 21st Century which I wrote with Carol Kuhlthau and Ann Caspari in 2007. I hold a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction in the Content Areas. I taught in elementary school for 11 years. In my last three years of teaching I served as a Reading Recovery teacher and and Early Literacy specialist. I also hold National Board Certification in Early Childhood Ed. I have led many staff development seminars as well as teacher leadership training. I have also taught at the university in undergraduate and graduate education courses.
