My guilty pleasure(s): Currently I am obsessed with making movies and that has been a dream of mine for 30 years. It pulls together most of my professional life into one endeavor: music, storytelling, information, designing, multimedia and video and archiving for posterity. My Library degree included a multimedia minor. My bachelors was in ethnomusicology.

The best word to describe me is: adventurous

My hero(es): Eleanor Roosevelt and Nelson Mandela and most recently, Karen Armstrong who is calling for an international Charter of Compassion. See her on Ted Talks.

Words or phrases I overuse: "that's cool" AND "it's probably genetic".

If I could live anywhere, it would be: Northern Iraq in a peaceful Kurdish village. . . (not!) ... well then how about Belize?
